One year ago yesterday, I packed up my bakes and headed to my very first market🧁✨

I had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be the start of something really special. Over the last year I’ve met so many lovely customers, fellow traders, and supporters who have helped my little baking business grow. Every order, every kind word, and every visit to my stall has meant so much.

Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for how far things have come in just 12 months, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.

With market season starting again, I can’t wait to get back out there! I’ll be sharing all of my upcoming market dates soon, so keep an eye out—I’d love to see some familiar faces (and meet plenty of new ones too!).

Thank you for supporting my small business over the past year. Here’s to another year of baking, markets, and making sweet memories. 💛🍰

After a lot of thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to stop selling my dog bakes.

This hasn’t been an easy choice at all. I’ve genuinely loved making these treats and seeing your dogs enjoy them, it’s been such a rewarding little venture.

However, there are a lot of requirements that come with producing pet treats properly including insurance, lab testing & strict compliance rules, meaning the time, cost and work involved, alongside sales means it is no longer sustainable for me.

I’ve always wanted to make sure everything I do is done safely, correctly, and to a high standard, and unfortunately the requirements for pet bakes, alongside my increasing orders for human bakes now outweigh what I’m able to manage.

I will now be taking the time to focus on increasing my human product range and creating custom cakes. Thank you so much to everyone who has order for their pets💛

This isn’t a decision I’ve taken lightly, but it’s the right one for now. But hopefully not forever 🐶

Unfortunately, I won’t have any dog-friendly bakes available tomorrow at Born & Bred. I know this falls on International Pet Day, which I’d originally planned to celebrate with lots of treats for your pups, so I’m really sorry to anyone who was looking forward to it 💛

I’ll still be there with plenty of goodies for you though, so please do come down, treat yourself, and bring your pup along to say hi - I’d absolutely love to see them! 🐾
