βοΈ A little summer reminder from a fellow SSRI user...
As someone who takes SSRIs myself, I know firsthand that this heat can hit a little differently. π₯΅π
I've seen a few posts about it recently, and thought it was worth sharing in case it helps someone else. Some medications, including certain antidepressants, can make it harder for your body to regulate temperature or increase the risk of dehydration.
So while we're all trying to enjoy the sunshine, don't forget to:
π Keep hydrated
π Stay in the shade when you can
π Take breaks when you need them
π Listen to your body
If you've been feeling more tired, overheated, or generally "not quite right" in this weather, it might not just be the heat itself. I've definitely noticed I need to be a little more mindful of it.
Between running a small business, working on orders, and trying to enjoy the sunshine, I'm making a conscious effort to slow down, drink more water, and not push myself too hard this week. βπ§΅β¨
You're not alone if you're finding this heat a bit much.
Are you loving the sunshine, or counting down the days until cooler weather returns? πβοΈβοΈ
