Being asked to refurb this beautiful and historic entraceway in the town was a privilege.
It had been botched for so many years and no matter how much we scraped away in the end the only solution for a long lasting result was to remove everything we could and start from scratch.
The lettering wasn't in the original scope of work, but the hairline cracks were only going to get worse...... and with that gorgeous lively blue, it felt right to do the whole lot.
I think you will agree that this doorway was definitely brought back to life. A long process but oh so worth it.
And that wooden door came up a treat with yacht varnish to protect from the adverse weather it gets battered with 😍😍

All paint is Dulux trade apart from the Coovar varnish supplied by the paint shed.

Painting the big dark areas of woodwork white definitely brighten the place up and the green definitely makes it feel cosier and a more welcoming space
