Good luck to all the little ones starting school this week!

There is something rather special about watching a little one take those first steps into their school journey. I still remember my own children starting school, and now somehow they're getting closer to the end of their school days! 🥹

To all the parents who have been getting uniforms, shoes, book bags and everything else ready over the last few weeks — I hope you've managed to enjoy a few last precious moments of summer together.

And to all those little ones starting school for the first time...

You've got this!

Look who's all together!

What started with one little fox has slowly turned into a whole woodland gang!

Felix, Daisy, Hazel and their woodland friends are finally all finished, and I have to admit, seeing them together for the first time made me do a little happy dance!

There have been lots of tweaks, redesigns, testing and more than a few moments of wondering whether I'd ever get them all finished... but they're finally ready.

There's just a few finishing touches before I can show you the whole bunting set but there's something rather exciting coming very soon...

I can't wait to show you the finished Woodland Bunting 🥰

Its nearly time for the new school year and I'm so thrilled to have had so many orders this summer for book bag wraps!

Every order really means the world to me and I love the idea that my makes are bringing a little bit of joy and pride to each of these children through making their book bag their own 😊

Well, this is a lovely sight to come home to!

After a wonderful family holiday, I'm back at my desk and getting stuck into 8 lovely orders that came through while I was away.

I've started adding a knock-down (or net fill) stitch underneath the main fill stitches. The idea is to help hold down those little felt fibres that can sometimes poke through the stitching.

It's one of those tiny details that you probably wouldn't notice when you look at the finished character... but it's something I notice!

I'm always tweaking and experimenting with my designs to see if I can make the finished stitch-out just that little bit better.

And honestly, I love this part of the process — getting completely absorbed in the little details that go into turning an idea on the screen into a finished embroidered character.

Anyone else out there who gets far too excited about embroidery techniques? 😂

It feels rather fitting to be sharing my Under the Sea bunting this week... 🐳🐙🐠

I'll be heading off on a little family adventure by the sea for a few days, and after lots of lovely recent orders, I'm looking forward to spending some quality time together before the busy autumn season begins.

Don't worry though—I've got plenty of posts lined up while I'm away, so I'll still be popping up here with some Little Luna Creations inspiration.

Meet the newest member of the woodland gang...

Hazel Squirrel has officially joined Felix Fox and Daisy Deer!

You might recognise Hazel from some of my behind-the-scenes posts while I was tweaking her design. She definitely went through a few changes before I was happy with her, but seeing her here with Felix and Daisy makes it all worthwhile.

I think they're looking rather at home together, don't you?

And this little woodland gang isn't finished yet...

I can't wait for you to meet the rest of their friends!

Sometimes the perfect fabric isn't on the website... yet!

I already have over 35 fabric designs available for my personalised book bag wraps, but every now and then I get an email from someone asking if I can find a particular theme or character for their little one.

And if I can, I’m always happy to see what I can do!

These are a few recent bespoke requests that I've been able to accommodate, and I absolutely love being able to create something that feels a little more personal and just right for the child it's made for.

So if you've had your eye on a particular theme and can't see it in my current fabric selection, drop me a message and ask! You never know what I might be able to find. 😊
