It is Paint the Town time again.

Get your choice of canvas stamped on the morning between 9am and 10 am at The Bureau - Centre for Arts Exchange St Blackburn.

PAINT THE TOWN IS BACK!!! We're really excited to announce that we'll be hosting paint the town down at The Bureau on the 30th May 2026!.

We'll be setting artists loose around Blackburn to capture their favourite landscapes in whatever mediums they choose (I know it says paint but we don't discriminate here). It's £10 to enter and we've got prizes to be won. You'll need to come get your paper, canvas or board stamped at the start of the day and then you can head out to make some art or you're welcome to work at home as we know Blackburn weather can be unpredictable - you'll still need to come and get your stamp and sign up in the Bureau first.

Remember if you want to work in a building you'll need to speak to the owner or manager and get permission. Artists are responsible for their own gear and we'll have a code of conduct as you might get some questions from the public.
Best of all, we'll be hosting an exhibition of your submitted work so you'll get your chance to show of your wonderful creations to the public!
