Harp framed dressing mirror
This is a large harp framed mirror (73cm x 77cm), with original bevelled plate glass, complete with some lovely aged foxing to the glass. The frame is perfect with fine string inlay, though delicate this has never had any repairs and is complete as the day it was created. It swings and holds position perfectly.
Pictures really don’t do it justice.

Mahogany chest of drawers
I’ve had this chest of utterly original drawers forever and they’ve got the most perfect patina; aged, great colour and drawers that just never seem to fill however hard you try.
Sitting on four large bun feet it’s now time for these drawers to go to a new home as I’ve an oak set waiting in the wings.

Over the last few weeks I’ve turned my old study back into a bedroom, along with new paper and my peg border, I’ve transformed a pair of vintage bedside cabinets with a lick of paint. Probably not to everyone’s taste but I’m incredibly happy with the look.

Absolutely cracking small ebonised and walnut Drum head mantel clock. It’s spent its life screwed down on a pub mantle piece, never running, just sat for decades. After a spruce up; brass polished, glass cleaned and body polished and a full wind up and a gentle oiling it’s happily ticking away after decades of waiting.

Antique Pine Chest of drawers
After hiding in the garage for over two years, this lovely antique pine chest of drawers is at last ready for a new home, and the colour I’m certain will no doubt divide opinions.
Painted in Mylands ’Messel’ dead flat eggshell. It’s certainly not to everyone’s taste, but I love it, with its Victorian ebonised drawer pulls and original brass key cover and working locks and key, really work with this colour.
It’s has historical woodworm, and that’s the reason it’s been reluctantly waiting two years to see the light of day. It has been treated to within an inch of its life over those two years and has been given the all clear.
