This room has undergone a serious transformation with quite a bit of work gone into it to get it to the stage it is at! 🏠

When I first went in the walls were suffering from a rising damp problem , which we assessed - diagnosed and treated.

All wallpaper got stripped back to bare plaster , unveiling some nasty holes big enough to get my head in😂🧔🏽‍♂️

After a load of filling and skimming we got the walls nice and flat and then Sanded the full room

After that I hit the walls with a full whitewash, 2 coats of Dulux Vinyl Matt Egyptian cotton , Armstead Brilliant white on the ceiling and brought the yellowing glossed woodwork back to life with some Armstead Brilliant white Quick dry satin 🎨 ✨

The customer opted for a full length panelled wall across the chimney breast using the 2.8m Acoustic boards due to the high ceilings and they are a much better quality board than the 2.4s❗️

After I fitted the panelling I finished off fitting a 50” Electric fireplace to replace the old one and some LED lights fitted into the panels to give it a nice bright modern glow ✨ Bringing this run down room into the place everyone in the house wants to be sitting 😁😁😁

Some transformation that is!!🤩🤩🤩

Just waiting for carpets and radiatiors to go back on and can happily say this little side project is complete😁

There really is no better feeling than giving someone the home they deserve🫡

This full job has been done by myself after work most nights for the past couple weeks just getting it squeezed in for my mum and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome💪

We’ve had a busy 10 days here at RBO Interiors 😅

From Limewashing , Panelling and painting 2 houses to full stud walls , boarded beaded and taped&jonted by ourselves ready for Burnley college to paint 🎨 🏫
