🤎 A Little Quiet… But Lots Going On Behind the Scenes!

I've been a little quiet on socials recently, but for a very exciting reason! I've been busy working on a huge project, and I can't wait to share it with you all… all will be revealed in due course! 👀✨

In the meantime, I thought I'd remind you of some of the beautiful pieces we currently have available here at Elizabeth Wood Restorations. 🤎

Some have been lovingly restored, others have been creatively upcycled, and some remain beautifully untouched, showcasing their original character, charm and patina.

Many of our unrestored pieces can also be purchased as they are, or customised to your own taste and style – giving you the opportunity to create something truly unique for your home.

🪑 We're also still taking bookings for furniture restoration!

Whether it's a treasured family heirloom, a vintage find or a piece that's simply seen better days, I'd love to help bring it back to life so it can be loved and enjoyed for many more years to come.

Get in touch for prices, availability or a no-obligation quote**, or take a look at our website to see what we have to offer!

Old furniture. New life. Timeless character. 🤎

It truly baffles me why people buy new things that imitate antique/vintage decor when they can buy the real thing? The first image is modern, mass produced and priced at £75. I have been to Holden Wood Antiques today and bought 2 stunning mirrors circa 1940s- 1950s for £60!
The beauty in buying antique is that you can almost guarantee no one you know will have the same piece in thier home, they are rare, beautiful and timeless 🥰❤️

You could call it market research, I call it a day in antique heaven with my lovely dad ❤️ also ... spot the name on this antique sampler from 1823 🤩

I've taken a small break from antiques to give this bathroom a face-lift... just like with furniture the prep work took longer than the finish 😅
Freshly sanded walls, skirting boards and door frames, fresh filler and caulk applied to all the dents and holes before colour drenching in Valspar "Settling in" for a smooth and professional finish 👌🏻🥰

Times are changing… and I’m SO here for it 🖤

Goodbye beige minimalism 👋 Hello rich colours, vintage furniture, dark woods, antique gold and homes packed with personality.

More character, more history, more drama 😍

There's nothing more satisfying than stripping back decades of paint ... I can't wait to show you the transformation I have in store for this banister 😌✨️

In case you're wondering ... I do more than furniture 🤎
Stripping and refinishing the banister of doom this week ft. Paint drips, 4 ancient layers of gloss and 3000 cat scratches 💪🏻🖌🎨
