As the seasons change, so does the Farm Shed 🌱🎄

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be busy making the transition from Christmas to spring here at the Farm Shed. That means collecting customers’ Christmas trees, carrying out stock checks, and gradually changing the site over from festive to fresh.

We’ll be creating a small paving display to inspire spring projects, and then in April we’re excited to be starting our lamb feeding sessions again – a firm favourite for many of our visitors 🐑

Even as we look ahead to spring, we’re still very much in festive mode too. Our festive decorations are continuing to head out the door, with lots of people ordering gifts for loved ones and restocking their own decorations for next year.

Thank you for supporting us through the seasons – we can’t wait to welcome you for everything that’s coming next.

🚀 Exciting News for Our Next Event! 🚀 (well we think so, it's a big thing for us!)

For past events, we’ve embraced the rustic charm of straw bale seating while we finish up our space—but farm life brings its own challenges, including pest control! So, with our next Landscapers & Garden Designers event coming up, we decided it was time to upgrade.

After exploring all the options, we’ve taken the plunge and invested in brand-new chairs—no more quick bale turnarounds! And if you’re one of the lucky ones with a ticket, you’ll be the first to enjoy them.

Enjoying things made proper Aldwark Manor Hotel

Last week we visited one of the sites that we had supplied over the last few years for hundreds of meters of York stone slabs, copings and Dutch clay pavers. We weren’t working this time, so it was nice to enjoy the quirky surroundings and see how the gardens and stone had settled in. Hats off to the owners, head gardener and landscaping team and Frank Agar
