I promise I’ll stop sharing from my day with Sarah soon, but I’m still not over this urn.

I spotted that curving branch of physocarpus resting against Sarah’s greenhouse straight away and knew I wanted to use it. The frothy asters, off-white and slightly pink, have already gone onto my “to grow” list. I loved how Sarah would go off to “find a good stem” while I was fettling, then come back with more fun things to play with.

It felt like the perfect way to end my season, with the chance to create without restrictions. I’m so excited for 2027 and all the flowering ahead (and hopefully a few more urns).

Workshop spaces are filling up and I’ve added a new date!

What makes these workshops different?
- Everything is created by you from scratch so it can be truly unique
- I use a wide variety of British grown foliages to provide lots of interest and longevity
- So many ribbon choices (I’m a ribbon addict) and extra sustainable decorations - no single use plastic!

Daisy & Jack’s flower-filled early June wedding 🧡

Daisy & Jack chose my DIY wedding flowers option, with the addition of a flower shower and me making the bridal bouquet.

I had so much fun working with their friends and family during the flower shower, showing them how to create the bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes and milk churn arrangements. Even their gorgeous dog got to have some flowers!!

This is the perfect option for anyone looking to keep costs down while still having a flower-filled day, and every stem was British grown.

I think today will be my final proper cut of the season as it looks like a frost is coming this weekend. In some ways, I’m looking forward to that full stop on the year. However, I will be so sad to see these gorgeous colours disappear.

Every week this season I have cut stems and then created bouquets for weddings, to say thank you or to send well wishes. A simple routine that has brought me a lot of joy.

Even when I have felt stressed, overwhelmed or incredibly tired. Stepping into my small growing patch has immediately lifted my mood. Thank you so much to anyone who has bought flowers from me this season and my wonderful couples 🧡

Today is the last drop of fresh flowers to Village Green • Indie Cafe in Eyam this year. I am so grateful to Sara and her wonderful team for all their support this year.

Sara is a true supporter of local businesses and I’m so glad I asked her if I could sell flowers on a cold February day.

I am hoping to supply dried bouquets over the winter until my fresh flower season begins again next spring.

It’s that’s strange time of year where I can’t wait for a rest but also don’t want the flowers to disappear!

I’m playing a little dance with the dahlias and frost at the moment. I’ve got one more week before I’m willing to say good bye so everyone cross all your bits for me!!

The field has taken a bit of a back seat in recent weeks but as the floristry quietens down I’ve got a bit more time (and energy) to work the ground. Clearing beds, adding organic matter and planting out perennials.

I have some really lovely weddings in April and May next year and I’m hopeful that all this prep will lead to a fruitful spring.

The most gorgeous pictures from Simona Grintina Boags (Derbyshire & Leicestershire) of Natalia & Eddie’s wedding at the end of September.

I had a lot of fun making this bridal bouquet even though it pushed me out of my comfort zone. Natalia gave me a brief and a colour scheme and just let me go wild 🧡 Thank you so much for trusting me to bring your idea to life!
