Ink workshops completed over this weekend. It was a full day of working to create this mixed media picture. We used stamps, alcohol inks, pastel pens, watercolour pens, gel pens and a touch of glittery highlights (which don’t show up in these pics). In fact these photos don’t do them justice. A fabulous day of hard work creating a fabulous original picture. I also have to add that the ladies are all not artists and with me showing them every step of the way they have created a fantastic piece of original art. Proud tutor moment!!

New weekly craft class starting on 14th April in Bridgnorth. 7 - 9.30pm, starting with Decoupage. All the classes are split into blocks running alongside school term time. We cover different crafts with each block. We will be starting with Decoupage for 6 weeks learning how to do this lovely craft. I have a home studio, Craft HQ, that can take 8 people. I run 3 other weekly groups all of which are full and have been for some time. We have a great time learning new crafts, chatting and having some me time each week. I also run a few workshops plus we have social gatherings too. It's more than just a craft club. It's £15 per class however you do have to pay for the complete block at the start so it will be £90 for this block plus materials which I try to keep as low as possible. Pictures to show what we have created in my weekly craft groups, this term. We have been creating greetings cards but looking at using stamps, blending inks, gel pens, pearlescent paints, watercolour pens, embossing folders, dies, plus making our own notebooks from scratch. Everyone has done so well and this is only a snippet of the things we have created.

💖 Let’s Make Amelia’s Wish Come True, Bridgnorth 💖

Amelia is a brave 7-year-old fighting stage 4 cancer. Her one and only wish is that if she makes it to her 8th birthday on March 3rd, she wants to receive 8,000 birthday cards and break the record for the most birthday cards ever sent. 🎂💌

This Sunday, Rebellious MC will be holding a birthday card collection to help make that wish a reality.

You’re welcome to bring a card with you, but if you don’t have one — don’t worry at all. We’ll have plenty of cards available for people to sign, so it won’t cost you a penny. Just a few minutes of your time could mean the world to this little girl.

Would you like to learn how to crochet in Bridgnorth (Eardington) as a total beginner? Crochet has seen a real boom in popularity and it’s a great craft for doing on the sofa relaxing. You have probably tried Youtube, Grandma may have shown you years ago, but you simply just need a face-to-face class so you can learn how to get started. I am running a 12 week course for complete beginners on Tuesday evenings starting on 20th January. I will show you right from the start and then as we progress teach you various stitches, how to complete a granny square, crocheting in a circle and maybe even some basic pattern reading. You will need to purchase your own set of hooks (about £10) and wool. Crochet is a great way to relax and produce some amazing things. It’s addictive, mindful, relaxing and doesn’t need lots of equipment. It may also induce a wool addiction, sorry!!!! If you are interested in joining its 7pm – 9.30pm. Classes are £15 each but payable upfront as a block of 6 weeks (so £90 for the first block). A 50% deposit will be required to secure your place (£45). Just wondering if any businesses in Bridgnorth have any empty drink cans they can donate to my craft group for a project? Happy to collect. I cannot use crushed cans unfortunately, they just need to be empty obviously. Any type of pop/beer can is great. Thank you. Sharon
