When you aren't ready to finish a project, you decide to also add quilting to all 72 white squares on your quilt.
I started this quilt the summer before my dad passed away. It was a lovely sunny, hot summer. The top was already finished when he suddenly passed away. I started adding the quilting whilst at mum's organising the funeral and brought it with me the next few trips I visited her. That was 2.5years ago. I finished quilting those straight lines yesterday. I could have finished it there and put the binding on. But looks like that isn't happening just yet.
