Here are a couple of finished vases from my current pottery students...aren't they lovely 😊

I will be starting a new beginners course in a few weeks based from my workshop near Keynsham. I'm yet to decide on times so if you have thought about learning pottery, or would like to try a mixed level class, please get in touch.

Here you see the first batch of finished items from our current beginners pottery class. Some of these were made on the wheel and others were handbuilds made using slabbuilding and pinching techniques.

The final pieces will all be ready in a couple of weeks after our break for the Easter holidays so I will share those with you soon.

If you fancy learning to make your own ceramics there are spaces available on our new beginners workshop starting 28th April.

In today's beginners class we started wheel work. I was really impressed with what my lovely students made. I have tried to show techniques to ensure they not only make good pieces but also finish them to a high standard and they are doing so well!

One of these was their first ever thrown piece which is incredible, especially as these were genuinely all their own work - no stepping in and taking over from me.
