An alliance with Downend School means that I have found a polytunnel! This means I can extend the growing season providing flowers earlier and later in the year. I will be growing plants for the school to use in their SEN garden. What a great cause! So exciting!

Brilliant workshop today at my patch. Thank you to the ladies that came over. Had a great time creating some pictures using pressed flowers and eating homemade cake. Rain didn’t stop play as we got out between the showers to check out the flowers! A lovely afternoon. I’m sure you will agree that the pictures are beautiful.

Bellflower medium - Campanula (Canterbury bells) They are so worth the wait! What fab giant bells! A statement flower stem! They look super lovely in the arrangement made by Karen for the Church service!

This stem signifies how I feel about the recent weather and how it is affecting my plants! First the cold then the heat and now the rain and wind!! 😫 Anyone with me?!

The pop up shop is out and it will be all this week selling mainly Sweet William. In the Victorian language of flowers, Sweet William symbolizes gallantry! These blooms are not only rich in sentiment but also practical: they are edible and beloved by bees, birds, and butterflies alike. Their charm, both poetic and botanical, continues to grace spring gardens with a sense of enduring romance. If you are a fan of them come and grab a bunch from the pop up shop! There is a QR for payment or just leave the money in the post box on the house! BS16 6BU (no 81).
