I’m off to the craft marquee at Dauntsey Festival of Transport & Country Show today. Shame the weather has changed for the weekend. I’m positive it will be a good day come rain or shine. Although just to be cautious as it’s in a field I’ve packed my wellies!!

Busy in the Den today making new and finishing off items for my next fair this coming weekend. It’s at another new venue, I’m in the craft marquee at Dauntsey Festival of Transport.

What a great day at Chipping Sodbury Hatheralls Yard today. These denim patchwork wristlet bags and two denim covered notebook, (plus other makes,) found their new homes. I’m looking forward to returning back here later in the year.

Thought I’d be clever and try filming while sewing… turns out it’s not as easy as it looks!
I’m working on a denim bucket hat and stitching right over a sea of pins. I know some people avoid pinning like this, but it’s exactly how my Nan taught me — and if it worked for her, it works for me.
There’s something lovely about carrying those little habits forward while making something new.

✨ My first denim + crochet dress is finally taking shape!
I’ve loved every minute of mixing soft, colourful stitches with sturdy upcycled denim — and seeing it all come together has been such a joy.

From the zigzags to the straps to that perfect little waistband… it’s starting to look like the sweetest handmade dress.
Can’t wait to show you the finished piece soon 💛🧵
