I wrote these words a couple of weeks ago…..I read them again today…..I love this little poem so much …..if you love hens I hope you do too ….💕💕

The little hen is Janice who I painted from a followers photo and she became our Miss January in our 2026 Charity Chicken calendar in aid of FPC Poultry Rescue UK to me shows how gorgeous and vulnerable these rescue girls are ….this was her first encounter with snow …..such a beautiful girl 💕💕

Is it me or are you easily distracted…..it’s workshop time this weekend and so I popped into my shepherds hut studio to tidy …..and I saw a plain piece of paper…..before you know it three little birds appeared…..💕💕

A lovely family day today…..then a little time to paint…..perfect 💕💕

I’ve never tried painting butterflies before but I was inspired by a beautiful book on all things wild in the UK I picked up from a charity shop today…..💕💕

It was so relaxing….. just mindfully painting…. I hope you love them……but what to call this piece…..any ideas?

Morning…..it’s beautiful start to the day in our little village…..everyone is fed and watered and the egg songs have commenced 💕💕

I have a small patch of grass I don’t mow …..it’s my tiny meadow…..I haven’t added any wild flowers as I want to see what appears naturally 💕💕

It has stunning grasses….daisies….buttercups….and this little flower has arrived ……I’ve never seen it before and apparently known as the Cuckoo Flower …..she is so delicate nestled in the clover….I am so happy she is here with us 💕💕
