It is time for a refresh! ✨Did you know BFB has officially been going since 2019! That means we are 7 years old! 🍰 That is something to celebrate but also time to say Hello to our new followers! 👋

So here is a re-fresh...

BFB was began by just John & Hannah, now it is a team of 7 and a large events part-time team; we have definitely grown!

Focusing mainly on our dairy products (cheese, butter, milk, cream etc) we also began working with other farmers who produce dry products (crisps, nuts, chutneys, oil, crackers etc). With a strong relationship between all our suppliers, giving us confidence when passing the products on to our customers! 🍓

We love meeting new customers, so if our products are of interest to your business, no matter how big or small it may be- just pop us a message, we would love to help.

Following on from my post yesterday, this September I will be running my first half marathon in memory of my beloved Grandma and raising money for Alzheimer's Society 🏃🏼‍♀️

Understandably, January is where we are all on the struggle bus between payday, but any donations would be wholeheartadly welcomed 🩵

I’m not sure where or how to start, so I’ll just jump right in. Last year I lost my favourite lady a week shy of her 90th Birthday. I’ve been trying to find the words and figure out the right way to tell you all, but as most of you already know my Grandma was my world and it’s been very hard.

I was blessed to have the most wonderful childhood growing up with her guiding me. She taught me to colour in and is the probably the reason why I’m an artist today.

In the last year prior to picking up the keys to my first home, I was fortunate enough to live with my Grandma. Such a special time that I’m so grateful for. I’d often get home from an evening out, and find Luna and Grandma curled up on the armchair together having a snooze and nothing filled my heart more than to see this sight.

Naturally I wanted to recognise and depict our relationship in my own way, and this illustration though it is not my best work, does show a very fond memory of mine where Grandma would pick me up from ballet. We would get home and head straight to the vinyl player to listen to Off The Wall by Michael Jackson. We would dance together for what felt like forever and I loved it.

Last year while being under her roof, I managed to find the exact one we used to play and I now listen to it and it brings so much joy to our little home.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to really express what she did for me, but I hope she knows how loved she was by everyone.

To kick my butt back into gear and set myself a new goal, I will be running my first half marathon in September and raising money for her chosen charity

In the build up to this event I’ll be sharing a fundraiser and any support will be very appreciated.

Twilight Walkies 🌙

My first ever whimsical street scene that I created. I often get asked where is it, is it a real place? Which of course it is, in my imagination 🙃✨

I’m obsessed with noticing the little details in buildings. Whenever I am on holiday and I spot a building that catches my eye, I immediately want to photograph it and doodle it ✍🏼

Twilight Walkies reminds me of that crisp evening stroll home from the pub 🍺

Growing up in Chorley, Staffordshire, I draw my inspiration from the idyllic countryside. Now 26 years old I am in the process of turning my lifelong passion for drawing into my dream career.
