Hello everyone, 👋🏼

It’s been awhile.

We’ve been busy extending our skills by taking courses at Create CIC, experimenting with new ideas and selling our pieces. ☕️

We intend on being more active with social media. So keep an eye out for some new items. We would love your support. 🫶🏼

At the moment we’re currently busy getting ready for Christmas 🎄 yep I said it!
Making ceramics can be a lengthy process. We’re getting a head start so we can attend more events this year.

Hello Everyone 👋🏼

Things are a little quiet at the moment. As we’re busy in the studio learning and creating new things.

Some of our stock is available at Mousehole Gallery if you wanted to buy a handmade gift for someone for Christmas.

(Below are some pictures from a previous Christmas market - some items are still available)

Or you can get in touch to buy direct.

In the new year we will be concentrating on creating a website.

👋🏼The last few weeks have been busy for us but we’ve still managed to find the time to learn how to make our own moulds for making sprigs and slip casting! It’s been a fun and interesting learning process.

👩‍🎨 Sprig moulds are a low relief shapes made separately from the main body and applied for decoration. A fab technique of you have a complex design. The amazing Hitomi Hosono is known to use sprig moulds on her sculptures.

☕️Slip casting is a great idea if you want to mass produce a single item, they come out exactly the same each time!
Many people use slip casting as a main structure before adding their touch with glazes, sprig moulds or even adjusting the shape.

We’ve been learning this at Create CIC, as part of their hand built tableware course.

🎄 What a successful first Christmas market. Gwel an Mor was a fabulous experience for our first stall. The staff were amazing and the other small businesses there were so friendly. Such a great community.

💖 Thank you for the support from everyone. It was lovely meeting some of you in person and having a chat with you!

👩🏼‍💻It’s time to start planning for the next one and build our stock.

Come on down today. We’re in the big tenant opposite the bar.
