Welcome back everyone!! I know I’ve been awfully quiet recently, Christmas has been extremely busy!! I thought I’d finish the year by showing my journey this year, and how Crochet Kay was born! I’m so grateful for everyone that has supported me this year and all the opportunities I’ve been given, and I cannot wait to see what 2026 will bring🍾🥂🧶❤️
24th Jan- My first trip to Hobbycraft and first attempt at a granny square, YouTube was my best friend this day 👵🏻
26th Jan - My first actual project: a blanket (iykyk) which is obviously still not finished but has made appearances at my markets! 🤪
12th Feb - I started to make a granny square jumper which is still unfinished obvs, but this really helped me to get to grips with the granny squares! 👘
28th April - I’d stopped crocheting for a while and started up again with a granny square top - it’s finished but not very sturdy, but it was my first ever finished wearable (kind of) piece👚
3rd May - found my calling after buying my first amigurumi set from tk maxx 🐙
11th May - I decided to start up the Instagram which initially started as kayjcrochet, before I changed it to Crochet Kay! This started just so I could see my own progress in real time and so that I could share with my friends what I was creating🧶
