I recently painted these fabulously pink kitchen cabinets 🩷 It was the only project I completed over the summer break. I love the summer weeks with my kids, but I also itch to get back to work, especially towards the last couple of weeks of the school holidays.
The kitchen was done for a return client who first bought my dresser, which you can also see in the picture right here and when you swipe.

I’ve also painted a Bloomsbury style mural on a built-in cabinet and repainted a bedroom console for her (I don’t think I’ve posted a picture of that yet, but I will).

I’m very grateful for clients who come back. I get to know them a bit more with each project and can tailor the work to them even more.

The other side of the kitchen has also been painted pink, but I’m not showing it yet as we’re planning a splashback mural! Can’t wait to show you more!

My latest piece is ready and available. Following the two bedside tables I continued with a theme of geometric figures decorating this chest of drawers. A shared moment, a hug brought with this embracing couple.

I’ll be putting this online today and details will be on my website and my Vinterior storefront. If you’re interested please send me a message on here if you like.

Hand-painted using Annie Sloan Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® and sealed with wax.

This table is still work in progress mainly because I feel I need to stop and work on something else for a while. The pauses are part of the process. Inspiration for this table is work of one of my favourite artists - Hilma af Klint.

Hand-painted, not so serious storage with serious personalities ✨

These are part of my current studio stock and the initial idea came after I saw some paper cut out figures - the kind where you pull a string and their arms and legs lift. I had a similar toy when I was little, except mine was a clown (a happy one!).

If you know a pair of cool kids, and you like this slightly quirky, slightly cute pair, they’ll be available on my website next week once I’ve taken a few more photos!

I wanted to share more photographs and a bit more about this piece and my collaboration on this with Leo Wood - an incredible interior designer based in South East London.

Leo reached out to me via Instagram, and we began working on this bespoke piece for one of her projects.

This vintage, slightly unusual sideboard, which I spotted locally on Facebook Marketplace, was a great find and perfectly fitted to become a hallway console.

The fabrics and colours in Leo’s design became the starting point for my initial sketches. The pattern evolved to work with the piece of furniture, its size and the way the drawers are proportioned. We refined the design together, messaging back and forth.

Scroll to the end to see how this vintage piece looked before, the final slide shows my iPad sketch. Alongside colour, I also wanted to bring in texture to give the piece more depth.

I really enjoy creating something entirely unique and tailored to a space. I hope the owners of this beautifully designed home will love it. Thanks Leo!

Hello everyone — and to those who have followed me recently, welcome 👏🏻

Late last year, I got my first small studio space, and I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be able to continue painting and to have a dedicated space for it. Thank you to my wonderful clients, friends, and all of you who support and follow what I do here.

Here I am with my latest commission (more about that piece very soon in a separate post!) and a wall I painted early this morning so I can give finished pieces a more beautiful backdrop.

I’m getting ready for the next few weeks of painting pieces I have in the workshop and commissions which I can’t wait to share with you!
