Thank you so much to Connie Lightstone for using your charity donations through Foresters Financial to buy me some much needed new kit. New shiny mixing bowls, jugs, chopping boards, weighing scales, small bowls & pastry brushes, all in my usual very colourful style :)

Honestly this last couple of weeks have been mad, what with bathroom leaks, 2 cars both in the garage, to name just a few things that arent going entirely to plan! But this little chap cheered me & my daughter up this morning during torrential rain at Dunkertons :)

Whilst I'm in the Merry Fellow working on a massive funding application which has already taken me 3 weeks (it has to be right!), it was lovely to see that the St Paul's residents cookery book has reached Edinburgh! This is Caroline who immediately knocked up a pear & ginger cake from the book. Absolutely brilliant :)

The most fabulous event that I am so proud to be part of. It was so uplifting, showing community & kindness & how coming together through cooking has such positivity in our lives.

Harley, Phoebe & Bella showcasing their cookery on stage, you were brilliant. All the St Paul's residents who attend the classes & came along to be part of the event, we couldn't have done it without you. To my team, Charlie, Gess & Daisy for giving up your free time to volunteer, Marisa Regan for your support & community kindness & lastly to Ali At Cbh who has put her heart & soul into this project & worked so hard to bring it all together ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone that supported us & bought the cookery book. Books are available to buy for just £5. All the proceeds go to the St Pauls residents association to provide activities for the families :)

I've had a great couple of days at the literature festival. I've seen lots of free events from No Child Left Behind to making a will. Today I was lucky enough to be invited to Benefact Group VIP event. A fantastic speaker talking about story telling through fundraising, a free lunch, lots of lovely people to chat to & a bonus £20 Waterstones voucher!

Then I met the wonderful Mindy Pickering for another free event about self publishing :)

I'm so looking forward to our event tomorrow. I realised today that I've been successful with funding as I do tell a story, no AI, straight from the heart, how what I do resonates with many people & makes an impact. Please join us if you can - 4pm The Huddle, Montpellier Gardens :)
