Thank you to everyone who visited my stall at the Frodsham Food Festival yesterday 💚

It was a bit of a slow start for me and the wind was picking up whilst we all set up our gazebos which was a worry but it turned out to be a great day indeed after the sun showed up!!!

Bone tired today with the 5am wake up, unloading a hot kiln, angle grinding at 7am for some glaze drips and major set up in the wind with an uneven ground (took my bits of wood to level things out) but the market buzz still remains haha good vibes all round, ace company and conversations and a rather lovely pint of cherry Larger and a sour dough toasty to end the day… yum!!!

18th July Duddon St Peter’s Primary Scool
25th July back to Frodsham Artisan Market

Bit of mould making this week between workshops,lots of mess, lots of wasted clay in the bin with plaster throughout (cant risk any getting in the kiln), one almighty disaster when the mould leaked all over the floor but so worth it for repeat shapes!!

Well…..bit of a boring photo….however these two little burnt things literally hold up everything for me as a person and potter….when the kiln says ‘no’ from time to time…it’s a gut wrenching feeling for me.

How much is this guna cost? Can it be fixed? Can I get the parts? Can I actually fix it myself? We are going to starve? What about the next market…ahhharr What am I going to do? this is the end of it all haha etc etc…total burn out mentally!!!!!

However, luckily I made a call to Potclays, and straight away the team there put me at ease, ordered the parts, road trip to stoke-on-trent tunes blasting, had a brew with the best woman alive on the way back…then I fixed these thermocouples myself! Feeew…back on track tf 🤭
