This job started with full floor preparation to ensure a perfect finish. We carried out fibre reinforced screeding to level the subfloor, followed by a 3mm smoothing compound to create a flawless base ready for installation.

The final result is a stunning herringbone design using Textures Sycamore LVT a clean modern look that really lifts the space.

Preparation is key with LVT and this one came out spot on from start to finish.

Dusty garage floors are a common query, so here’s how we solved the issue with this one: first, our heavy-duty grinding machine removed surface residue, and then we gave it a good vacuum. With high moisture readings, we applied an epoxy damp proof membrane, followed by a smoothing compound screed for a smooth finish. The final step was installing heavy-duty commercial slip-resistant vinyl flooring - problem solved, and the customer is happy.

Before & after photos of the work we carried out on the new Riley’s loft in chorley town centre. We ripped up the old carpet and overboard the old chipboard floor with 6mm plywood with a feather finish over the top before installing the Tarkett naturals commercial vinyl.
