We forgot to post yesterday 😂 We're blaming the heat, it melted our brains. 🫣
Today we have been pottering about getting things ready for the Autumn membership packs. Its very hard to think of crisp cool autumn days when HQ ia currently 30⁰c.
We're heading out to top up the pond, the birdbaths and all the drinking bowls. Please do put out shallow dishes of water for wildlife if you're able. You never know, you might get a visit from a thirsty little dragon or something. 😊

Mathilde says hello 👋 She's been out and about today and spotted this most beautiful white foxglove.
We love foxgloves, there's somehing magical about them. Do you have any near you? (Anyone else call them fairy hotels? Or is that just us?)
Mathilde says she wishes she were smaller so she could have a nap in one of the little flowers. 🥰

These Monday's soon arrive, don't they?!
We had a outing this weekend to the Welsh coast. We saw lots of lovely red dragon toys and cuddly plushies but alas no real ones.
The sun shone, gulls swooped, the icecream was delicious and the sea perfect for swimming.
All we were missing was a dragon to chat too.
Mathilde was a little peeved as she felt sure we would meet her Welsh counterpart. Perhaps next time?

We had some lovely pitter-pattery type rain yesterday, it made for an interesting walk.
Sidenote; my walking boots are sadly not waterproof anymore. Mathilde was not amused by my soggy sock prints across the carpet at HQ 🤭😂

We saw stars on our walk earlier today.
No, we didnt clonk our noggins, nor was it dark out, they were on the path. 🌟
Aren't they adorable? 😍 They're elderflower stars.
Mathilde says we're daft. We don't mind, we like being able to see the whimsy that most folk miss.
Here's hoping for a lovely week of dragony fun and nice dragonspotting walks. 😊

Its June! Half way through 2026 already. 🫣
We've had a lovely few days pottering about HQ, making notes, drinking tea, and discussing future dragon membership pack ideas with Mathilde and the Bookwyrms. There's always something to be planned and organised, isn't there?!
If anyone has any suggestions for items they'd like to see in future packs please do let us know. We're always open to ideas for dragon themed goodies. 😊

Our last post of May. Wow, this month flew by!
Summer membership packs are all en-route, hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow morning.🤞
Here is a photo of Resident Artist printing more logo stickers for the packs. Its fun, printing stickers, but a bit time consuming.
We're having a a couple of days off (need an admin break) because the prolonged high temperatures has left us feeling a bit feeble and migrainey; the heat has been...quite heaty. 🥵
HQ was 32⁰c at one point.
Even Mathilde declared it Too Hot!

Stunning day here in south Shropshire. Positively marvellous. Thermometer says its currently 30⁰c 🥵
Mathilde has taken herself off to her Secret Spot, where she can bask in peace. 😊
The BookWyrms have gone to the brook for a play, and we are in the shade at HQ with a glass of icey cold ginger ale. 😁
We've topped up all the birdbaths, the bee drinking stations and assorted shallow water bowls.
We'll be checking in with local troupes later to make sure they have water and essentials to. Please don't forget the local wildlife when the weather is this warm, they get thirsty too. 😊

Weather forecast looks great for some walks this bank holiday weekend. 🥳
We can't wait to get out and about. Even Mathilde says she'll tag along!
In other dragony news, our Resident Artist is scheduled to make some Bookwyrms and BookDragons for the bookshop in the next week or so and wondered if any of you lovelies wanted one too?

Mathilde is trying to convince us that there's no such thing as a Hawthorn Dragon.
We disagree...really, look at those blossoms! Wouldn't they make just the sweetest comfiest little dragon nap zones?? 🤩🥰
We are definitely asking the BookWyrms to weigh on this one. What do you think?! 🤔
