The brief was to create a timeless bathroom that balanced traditional country character with a refined, contemporary edge. A light, neutral palette provides the foundation. Layered with natural textures, rich materials and warm, considered lighting.
With the ensuite flowing through to the dressing room, creating privacy for the WC was key. We introduced a design that added privacy through it's structure, whilst creating built-in storage, hidden behind a tongue-and-groove feature wall. A practical solution that felt in keeping with the character of the home.
The bath was repositioned to take centre stage, framed by beautiful marble detailing and a bespoke recessed niche - the perfect spot for a glass of w**e and flickering candlelight after a long day!
A beautiful double vanity unit, finished in a rich wood stain with fluted details is another star of the show! Paired with a striking Calacatta Viola marble worktop, living brushed brass brassware and soft ambient lighting. Bespoke reeded shower glass picks up on the delicate texture of the wall lights, creating a subtle thread of continuity throughout the space.
Underfoot, textured terracotta parquet tiles bring an earthy warmth and organic character, grounding the softer palette with a timeless, heritage feel. Natural materials, tactile finishes and thoughtful detailing come together to create a space that feels both elevated and effortlessly lived-in.
