It’s been a very long but incredibly productive prep day today!

I’ve made so many pies, brownies, cakes, fish pies…

Tuesday was an absolute BELTER for us 🤩 by far our busiest Tuesday yet! We welcomed lots of lovely people who came over on a coach trip from Southport, and you completely wiped us out. I definitely wasn’t expecting quite that level of busyness! 🥹

Don’t worry though… I’m all caught up and ready to go again! 😜

And speaking of things flying out…

Our Mexican Fiesta Pie has had an amazing start! 🇲🇽

We’ve sold lots of them already, and I’m excited to see how many more of you give it a go tomorrow! 🥧 🇲🇽

I’m intrigued to see whether Mexico can knock the USA off the top spot in our Pie World Cup… because that Chicago Deep Pie Pizza was blinkin’ popular! 🍕🥧🇺🇸

I didn’t manage to get any photos today, and to be honest… you’re probably all getting a bit sick of fish pie photos and USA World Cup pie photos by now! 🤣

So instead, here’s a photo of me at a school fair in Summer 2025 ❤️

It was at this event that a member of Clitheroe Council approached me and asked if I’d ever consider opening up on Clitheroe Market. 🥹

Obvs I said YESSS! 🥰

At the time, I had no idea just how much that conversation would change my life. This photo will always be a special one to me ❤️

Back to the Pie World Cup! 🌎🥧

I genuinely cannot BELIEEEEVVVEEE how many USA pies we’ve sold this week! 🤯🍕🇺🇸

I spent most of today making more and more, even though I was convinced I’d already made far more than we’d ever sell… and then you lot just kept coming! 😂

Thank you. Honestly, seeing how invested you’ve all become in this silly little pie competition has made it even more fun than I imagined. ❤️

Sadly, USA 🇺🇸 Chicago Deep Pie Pizza has now played its final match… 😢

But wow… it has set the bar HIGH for the countries that follow.

has been an absolute HIT so far!

Honestly, we’ve sold WAY more than I ever expected… and we haven’t even had Saturday yet! 🤯

Tomorrow is your LAST chance to try it before the scores are counted.

At the end of the tomorrow, Team USA will be taken off the menu and sent to the sidelines… potentially forever! 😱

Unless, of course, it goes on to WIN the Barton Bakes Pie World Cup and earns itself a glorious comeback! 🏆

I absolutely LOVE it.

So many of you popped by today just to grab a USA pie, discuss next week’s country, predict future flavours and debate who might win the whole thing. It’s become far bigger than I ever imagined!

At the end of the day, it’s just a bit of fun… and let’s be honest, we could all do with a bit more fun in this crazy world ❤️
