Eeek! I love it when an illustration of mine pops up by suprise!

These two are part of a collection I have worked on for . Digital illustrations, hand drawn in procreate, no AI. Supplied as both solid background jpeg and transparent background png files, so they can be layered into posts and graphics.

If you have a project you need illustrative help with and you think my style fits your business, email me at [email protected] and we can have a chat. June is full but I’ve got availability from July.

She’s only gone and developed an APP!! The next step in ā€˜s plan for world domination! For all your baby development milestones, she’s got all the info you need in one handy place.

Building on the existing graphics we have created over the past 12 months, Chloe wanted something that was simple and clear and a continuation of the work we have already done. So we took the rainbow bubble lettering, excercise icons and a few dots and stars to create the landing page and app icon. All drawn by hand in procreate. Swipe to see the concept sketches and finished results…

Camping with an AuDHDer…survival tips.

Fiddles, fidgets and entertainment - take plenty! Outside games too - a beach ball, frisbee and fishing net.

A big tent - plenty of space and doesn’t feel claustrophobic and confined.

Regular bedding - familiarity and not a sweaty sensory nightmare of a sleeping bag. Same blanky, same teddies, same is safe.

Pack options for EVERYTHING! Minimal is not the way to go. Options and spares, to cater for every unpredictable whim and mood change. Be prepared.

Cones to mark out a visual boundary. (Not that his PDA tendencies paid much attention to these)

Pick a location with dopamine hits and gross motor input - we stayed on a campsite just outside Sedbergh, which had river, a rope swing, woodland to explore and animals to visit.

Prep beforehand - look through photos of the site, photos of previous camping trips, even create a social story.

Good weather helps. And most importantly…don’t forget the iPad.

They say a change is as good as a rest, don’t they. Well camping for a weekend was certainly a change and not particularly restful, camping with a child and a dog, but we had a fab weekend of sun, BBQs, booze and time spent outdoors. We didn’t travel far, just over an hour away to Sedbergh, but to a lovely location on a farm campsite, close enough to walk into the village. B had a great time exploring the woods, seeing the animals and playing in the river!

Back to reality with an almighty bump on Monday, sick child, sick dog and mountains of unpacking!

His new football kit has got me a bit emosh at the moment. I know it’s daft, but it feels like a bit of a developmental milestone. B has recently taken an interest in football which he’s never really shown before and he’s not had the best coordination when it comes to ball sports. We tried football lessons when he was 3 but it was just a non starter so stopped. Loads of boys his age eat, sleep and breathe football and insist on only wearing footie kits as every day wear, but he’s just not been interested so we’ve never pushed it. Then all of a sudden he’s playing it at school at play time, he’s kicking a ball in the garden and he wanted a football kit! (Bargain Ā£2 Vinted find btw!) When your world is full of developmental delays, learning adaptations, social difficulties and motor skills struggles, playing football seems so…..normal. It’s a reminder of the power of the word ā€˜yet’.ā¤ļø

Just to clarify, all illustrations on this page are authentic illustrations created by an actual illustrator, not an artificial impersonator.

I use my hands, I paint with brushes, I draw with pencil and I draw digitally. I work on paper, canvas, glass, walls and screens. I think, I research, I create something unique for each client. I don’t just regurgitate the same thing again and again. I care about each client and each project. I care about the quality of work I put out and I care about my client relationships.

Artists create art. AI does not create art. And AI doesn’t care.

It was time for a new profile pic, seeing as in the last one I still had a bob!

Swipe for the last two profile illustrations and how much my style has developed! 2026, 2024 and 2023. All very much my style, but also very different! Head shape is something I’ve played around with a lot over the last few years and my technique has changed from digitising a pen drawing in Adobe illustrator to drawing fully in procreate. But my love of pink and my white streak endure!

A big week for Year 6 kiddos! It will be tough all round, but more so for SEN kiddos. Another grade to quantify their difference to the ā€˜norm’, to the ā€˜expected’ standard. It’s a lot of pressure for the children and adds a load onto the parental stress that comes with SEN kids. Remember to remind those little people (and yourselves) that they don’t measure so many important things, like kindness, creativity and individuality. Their score doesn’t define them!
