Low Bowl Arrangements

Tiny daisy nestled amongst pops of colourful dahlias- summer is in full bloom with this arrangement. A beautiful way to add a dash of colour to your tables and make your wedding tie together with the bridal party flowers.

A low bowl table arrangement means that your guests aren't blocked from talking across the table to each other whilst also ensuring a beautiful addition to your table setting.

Welcome Sign Flowers

If there is one item I would advise wedding couples to consider adding to their florals it would be a meadow. They are so versatile and immediately elevate your space.

Here you can see this orange, terracotta and peach meadow beautifully complementing the welcome sign. It ties together with the bridal party flowers and makes your guests feel welcomed into a special event.

The meadows can be placed in front of your ceremony table, line the aisle, under the welcome sign, under the seating chart, in front of the top table, next to your cake table... the options are endless. And if you have a lovely wedding day site team- they can move them from place to place. Alternatively this is a service I can discuss with you.

Would you have a flower meadow as part of your wedding florals?

Hi! I'm Megan - the florist behind Megan Daisy Floral Design.

I am a little camera shy so you don't often see me on my profile but I wanted to introduce myself. Here are a few things you might not know about me:

I started my business in September 2025 after leaving a career as an English teacher.

My middle name is actually Daisy- a career in floristry was just meant to be!

I got married in July 2025 but did not do my own wedding flowers (that would be far too stressful!).

In September 2025 I attended a training course at the Cambridge Flower School and never looked back.

If you ask me what my favourite flower is, the answer will change every time. They are all so gorgeous- it is impossible to choose!

Thank you for getting me in front of a camera

Is there anything else you would like to know? Get nosey and ask me in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡

Social Media - Both a blessing and a curse

Social media is a great place for so many reasons. Of course, it is a fantastic way to publicise my business and show examples of my work. There is no greater feeling when a wedding couple enquires because they have seen pictures of your work!

It is also a great opportunity to network and meet other wedding industry professionals. I have made some great connections, asked plenty of people for advice and even picked up some freelancing work all through social media.

However, it can be a minefield to navigate too.

So often we are having to manage the expectations of our wedding couples. Social media rarely includes a price tag and as someone in the industry, it might be easy for us to look at an image and know it will cost ยฃ10,000 but for our wedding couples it is not so obvious.

And then there is AI... More and more I am coming across AI generated images of flowers that I am then being asked to re-create. Needless to say, this is an impossible task. Often these images contain flowers that our from different seasons, in colours that they simply do not grow in or entirely made up varieties all together!

I love social media and think that it can be a useful tool for wedding planning. But I urge wedding couple of be cautious- don't forget to step back and consider your budget, remember that not everything is always as it seems, and don't get bogged down by comparing your wedding to everyone else's.

Are there any other bits of social media advice for couples planning their wedding?

Had a fabulous day collaborating with gorgeous wedding professionals. Really looking forward to seeing some of the gorgeous photos and content.

The theme was a luxury wedding with a colour palette of terracotta, warm orange and autumn tones.

Really loved creating this floral meadow to frame the wedding welcome sign. When everything works together to bring the wedding vision to life there is no better feeling!

When the bride wants pink ๐Ÿฉท

Lauren was very clear on one thing- the bouquet must be full of pink!

So lovely to work with couples who have a clear idea of what they want from their wedding florals. Whether it is a colour, size, specific blooms or maximum impact for your budget- it is always useful to work out your priorities.
