This is the first piece from a series called "Seaside whispers" and I will call it:

"The little boy and the sea".

He waits, not for the wind or the tide, but for the sea to bring back a memory.

And it did for me. It brought back sweet memories from when I used to live near the Black Sea 😊 And reminded me how bad I used to paint as a kid. I still do but 🤫

Whimsical Behind Glass – Handmade Miniature Stories

I’ve always loved wandering through charity shops and second-hand stores, marveling at the tiniest, quirkiest treasures. Ever wondered what stories those little objects could tell? I do. Every time. So i take them home hoping to somehow hear their stories. And they never tell me their old stories :/ and they almost filled my room and refuse to pay rent or bills.

So I have decided to create new stories for them. Stories that I will no longer have to guess because I would be a part of them.

I rescued forgotten trinkets and paired them with nature’s magic like moss, mushrooms, tiny animals, even a hedgehog or two, and craft one-of-a-kind pieces sealed/hidden behind glass. Each one tells a new story.

I showed my friends what i created and I even sold one. So yes, I’m bragging (just a little). Also trying to sell more maybe 🫣

I'm considering participating in local craft fairs here in Coventry to share more of these whimsical creations.

Whimsical behind glass was born from a love of lost things and little wonders that were too adorable to be left on shelves in charity shops.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, handmade from rescued trinkets, vintage finds, and nature’s quiet treasures. I give forgotten objects a second chance by transforming them into whimsical keepsakes sealed with meaning. Every jar, frame, or terrarium tells a tiny story, crafted with love, care and curiosity.
I believe magic lives in the small things and that joy can be bottled.
