It’s a bright and sunny beautiful spring morning so here’s something dark and gloomy! 😳

A video edit I made a few years ago, thinking I should get back into this again, it was a lot of fun.

Eye check day today (I have to have ) monthly check ups after bilateral retinal detachments). A trip up to Liverpool, and as always so grateful that they saved my remaining sight. All went well but if leaves me a bit strung out afterwards so it was an afternoon of art to get me back to my normal self! Revisited this one as I wasn’t entirely happy with previous attempts.

Especially if you remember these times?.

Shelton Bar Steel Works, Stoke on Trent, long since gone.
The landscape of Shelton Bar was the setting of the short story “The Cone” by H. G. Wells, who had lived nearby. It’s believed that Wells also found inspiration for The War of the Worlds there. I can see why with its almost post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
