“Oh, so you sell candles?” 🕯️
Someone said this to me in conversation earlier this week when we were chatting about my business.
And do you know what? I can completely understand why they thought that!
Take a little scroll through our social media and you’ll see plenty of candles, wax melts, diffusers and lots of talk about beautiful fragrances.
But BB Apothecary is so much more than a home fragrance brand.
What you might not know is that my background is actually in beauty and holistic therapies. I’ve spent years working hands-on with clients, and I’m still a practising therapist today.
And that side of my world has a huge influence on what I create here at BB Apothecary.
Yes, I absolutely love making your homes smell beautiful, but I’m equally passionate about creating products that encourage you to slow down, take a moment for yourself and enjoy those little everyday rituals.
From our soaps, shower steamers and bath salts to our pulse point oils and wellbeing collections, there’s a whole other side to BB Apothecary that perhaps I don’t talk about enough.
Our Sleeping Bag Bath Set is a lovely little example of that. A collection of soap, shower steamer, pulse point oil and candle, all brought together to turn an ordinary evening into a little moment of self-care.
And actually, there’s even more coming soon that brings my two worlds of therapy and product making together.
So yes, we make candles. And I love them.
But we’re not just about making your home smell lovely. We’re about helping you feel lovely in it, too.
Perhaps it’s time I started showing you a little more of that side of BB Apothecary. 🤍
