My customer had a new blind made by Fran at Sweet Pea Soft Furnishings.

With the remnant of fabric left over, I created this 35cm x 25cm ceiling pendant lampshade to match.

Great way to use up fabric remnants to create lampshades that match or complement your soft furnishings ❤️

This weekend I learnt how to make a soft, gathered lampshade.

Apart from the trim at the top and bottom, it is completely hand stitched. This involved a lot of pins and therefore a lot of pain 😅📍📍

My hands are so sore but I’m so pleased with my first attempt!

A remnant piece of fabric from some handmade blinds to 2 x beautiful handmade lampshades - perfect to complete your home’s new look.

These pendant shades measure 50cm diameter and 30cm high. I think they show off this Clarke and Clarke Mercia fabric in Apple Spice perfectly.
