I've been to my favourite shop again Just Sew in Penrith. I am hooked on twin needles, but when I was there, I also bought single needles with two holes. I can't wait to see what the effects are.

I am still busy making leaves and twigs. Lots more to do. All made with Lutradur on my sewing machine.

Good morning! ☀️ Still working on my hedgehog, and I'm really pleased with how he's coming along. Back to my twin needle today — using two creamy colours with just a subtle difference in tone. I'll go over this area again later with a slightly darker beige or brown.

Oh my goodness, this is a total game changer! 🤩 Why haven’t I thought of this before? I’ve got a twin needle in my machine today — cream and brown on top, dark brown in the bobbin. Though the bobbin thread isn’t showing much difference yet, I need to play about a bit more. I absolutely can’t believe this effect! 😍 I’m so pleased I finally tried this — I’ve always wondered if I can use a twin needle to do free motion embroidery. Now I know I can 🤣
