Big shoutout to Graeme Armstrong for popping into Dundee Sole today 👏

Graeme is an author, screenwriter and documentary maker from Airdrie whose work shines a light on the realities facing many young people across Scotland. His bestselling debut novel The Young Team won multiple awards including the Betty Trask Award, Somerset Maugham Award and Scots Book of the Year, and is now being adapted into a major BBC drama series. His latest book, Raveheart, is already creating a huge buzz and has been praised as another powerful piece of Scottish storytelling.

You might also recognise Graeme from his BBC documentaries Scotland The Rave and Street Gangs, where he explores Scottish youth culture, gang violence and the importance of positive opportunities for young people.

Away from writing and TV, Graeme does extensive work with young people through violence prevention and community projects, helping steer kids towards a better future. Massive respect for the work he does and thanks again for donating copies of The Young Team and Raveheart to the shop. ❤️📚

The Action to Protect Rural Scotland have launched their own petition asking for a pause on all Hyper-scale Data Centre builds until the impact on local communities is properly assessed. 📸 St Andrews Photographic Society will be holding their annual exhibition at Craigtoun next month. The exhibition will be set up in the Party Tent behind the Craigtoun cafe and is free for members of the public to attend. 📸

We Had this jacket stolen today off our mannequin . Usually wouldn’t bother but it’s not exactly an easy jacket to hide and I’d like it back as 80s Best Company isn’t easy to find . If anyone sees this or someone tried to sell them this jacket would appreciated people would let me know
