The York Food & Drink Festival returns to the city centre from 18–27 September, bringing 10 days of brilliant food and drink to the heart of York. 🙌

Expect street food 🌮, sweet treats 🍰, local produce 🧀, drinks 🍺, demonstrations 👨‍🍳 and loads to try as you wander around the city.

The joy of slowmade products is truly magical ✨ When everything around us is so fast, how wonderful it is to have a bag that fits everything in, makes you smile when you look at it, and took a day to make. Or picture the look on your child’s face when they see the hairband made especially for them in their favourite colours. The candle that was hand poured and sustainably made by a small business you found at a local market smells so much better than massmade one you got at the supermarket. Shopping small, slow and mindfully has so many benefits, but the joy it brings is perhaps the best 🫶
