World Mental Health Day - was yesterday 10th October.

Unfortunately I completely missed the opportunity to post! However feel it’s such an important issue to talk about.

Why would a market organiser be talking about mental health? Well it can be extremely stressful and difficult on your mind running a small business, it can be hard when your not making any sales or business isn’t doing so well, the hours are long and tiring and when comments are made and people whisper behind your back you struggle not to doubt yourself and your work!

But we are extremely lucky here at TGSB Markets and events! We have a fantastic market family who look out for each other, we don’t bring each other down! We lift each other up, we support each other, we lean on each other when we need to and welcome each other with open arms. We are a strong community!

I know personally I wouldn’t have been able to get through some times in my life without their encouragement and support.

So anyone suffering out there please remember you have people around you who care and want to listen. Don’t suffer in silence, share your worries with those you trust and let them support you.

You’re not alone!
