Facebook is an annoying thing that decides if it lets people see your posts, if a page isn’t interactive or have lots of people commenting and sharing they don’t promote it and not many people see it.

So here is my alternative to try and get some more interactions and if successful I will continue to do these on occasion.

Here are 2 massive chocolate bouquets, made with a mixture of different types of chocolate and manufacturers, they do contain nuts and you will need to watch out for the usual allergens but why not have a go at this bonus ball. A diabetic nightmare or a chocolate lovers dream.

Numbers 1 - 59. £1 each number

Winner will get a choice of one of the bouquets then I will run another bonus ball for the second bouquet.

Feel free to share and comment to get this post going, as soon as all numbers have gone and been paid for, it will go into the next lottery draw.

Still time to book your place on one of my Christmas wreath making classes, these can even be used to make a grave wreath if you want something a bit fancier for the grave this Christmas.

Just a quick bit of information:

I had one of my regular customers just tell me they were disappointed with a bouquet they got from another florist when I was away and not able to supply her with one earlier this year, she said they did not last very long and not worth what she paid for them.
Now I do not bad mouth any other florist or say anyone is not very good etc, this year all florists were in the same boat, the flowers did not last as long as they usually would due to the prolonged heat we had this year, flowers like cool temperatures and that just did not happen this year.
So you may have found that you had the same problem with flowers you have bought or received this year, please don’t think bad of me or any florist as it was out of our control, I often had flowers that had started blooming as soon as I received them from the wholesalers, some I just couldn’t use and kept myself others I reduced them down so people were not paying as much for something not to last.
Unless you had an air conditioned room the flowers were going to wilt and die a lot faster than usual.

Some tips to keep them as fresh as possible:

Cut the stems every couple of days

Keep the water cool and fresh and change it when you cut the stems

Keep them in a cooler area away from direct sunlight and radiators

Remove any stems that are dying off so not to contaminate the other flowers. Different flowers have various vase life.

If you receive a bouquet in a gift box, then remove them from the water bubble as soon as possible so you can care for your bouquet properly. They are not meant to be kept in the box permanently.

On Saturday 10th October I provided the wedding flowers for Laura and Oliver.

What a pleasure to make these and to use flowers I hadn’t had before, these special order roses and carnations were that perfect autumnal accent for their wedding.

Congratulations to them both and thank you for trusting me with your special day.
