A job from today for friends at a discounted price. Replacement UPVC Bathroom window with satin privacy glass replaced and old crittle window that was single glazed. Just in time with a week to spare before they have a new bathroom fitted. So now it can be tiled right to the inside of the frame making for a superb finish.

Then I went off to replace an old panel with catflap in it for a toughened double glazed unit.

Photos from yesterdays job in Devizes rip-out out old wooden sash windows which turned into a full box rip out at customers request. Fitted white woodgrain quick slide UPVC windows with gold furniture. Customer very happy and well be back to fit some more items in a couple of weeks and also quoting for more of the quick slide windows.

Today’s job in Market Lavington replacing an old UPVC window with a white UPVC triple glazed window on a stubb cill with chrome furniture.

Found the existing window had no fixings holding it in, just expanding foam and an open cavity.

I gave the customer the chance while the window was out to get some insulation into the cavity as there was barely anything in then. Then I fitted timber into the cavity and used fire foam to seal the cavity and create a fire break. As I’m not one to put my name to a job if I’m not happy it’s not been installed correctly and following the same certass regulations I do in my full time employed work mon -fri.

A very happy customer and the window has made a huge difference ready for them to install the new kitchen.

Completed job in Littleton Pannell. Anthracite UPVC grey external windows , astragal bars on front windows, white internal frames. Endurance Anthracite grey composite door with extreme weather low aluminium threshold - door is the smallest they could make! (in order to fit the opening) It really has transformed this property and has been an absolute pleasure to complete for the customers.

It's been another busy weekend with two more jobs completed around Market Lavington. Getting around the issues of conservatories and stairs to get our windows fitted and finished. Finished jobs to follow. Another repair on for later today, and another window to fit next weekend and a repair. Quotes to send out and a fascia and soffit job to get booked in.

I'm glad I've got next week off for half term from my full time job for finally having a rest.

Huge thank you to everyone who has had work done by me so far and supporting a local person. It's been a crazy start to the year and I'm sure they'll be more jobs to follow.

Today's job just a few doors from my house. Replaced a blown sealed unit in the French doors of this garden room. Then Fascia and soffit to the front porch, reused the exiting guttering to keep costs down. What a transformation to the front of the property not to mention now the old wooden fascia is protected from the elements.

Today's job in Great Cheverell replaced two blown sealed units in this bedroom window and replaced the fascia and guttering to the front of the house upstairs. Customer unsure what they are doing with the porch so not done that at the moment.

However we noticed the lead was coming out of the wall on the tiled porch so pushed it back in and used some lead seal to prevent any water ingress. I didn't charge the customer for this, it's not really taken me much longer and it's something that I had with me. However it makes a huge difference to protecting their property from water ingress and hopefully shows I take pride in my work and even when I spot something nothing to do with the job in hand will repair or advise the customer if its not something I can deal with.

Plenty more jobs still to book in from accepted quotes, so more transformations to come. What an amazing transformation to this property in Littleton Panell. Anthracite grey upvc windows with astragal bars on the front. Endurance Tyree composite door with a low aluminium severe weather rated threshold. The smallest the composite door could physically made to fit the opening of this old cottage.

I’ve got a fair bit of work already agreed for this year that I’m now trying to work out when I’m able to fit in. I work Monday to Friday full time so these jobs are fitted in around my weekends so please be patient.

Lots more repairs and replacement items, new windows and fascia and guttering quotes have been agreed this year so probably looking like I won’t be able to fit in any work until at least March. Working all day in Littleton Panell yesterday fitted 6 windows a composite door and a sealed unit to existing French doors. What a transformation it has made to the property! Even received some lovely comments from passers by whilst working. We be back soon to finish the remaining windows.

The last door fitted in 2025… very happy customer and a big improvement on the old wooden door.

Endurance Etna composite door in rosewood, satin glass, chrome architectural door furniture.

The customer wanted to keep with the neighbouring houses by keeping the door rosewood, but the door furniture has definitely given it a more modern feel.

Still plenty more to fit at the start of 2026, more people still to get out to for quotes and more quotes still waiting to be sent out. It’s been an incredible year & I will be getting back to people as soon as I can.
