NEW: Handwritten pressed cornflower gift tags ready for the festive season

Flowers might be thin on the ground right now but there are always opportunities for pressing. This is my favourite ivy to press as the light veins retain their colour. When I've pressed other varieties the pale colours tend to turn a murky grey or muddy brown, but not this one (found rambling through the hedge in my front garden).

Whatever the occasion I can create a card that says it with flowers. DM me to order or pop into the The Hummingbird Collective shops in Retford or Newark and order at the counter.

Many thanks to for the fabulous photo

One of the things I love about working with Eucalyptus is how long it keeps its smell. Especially Eucalyptus that's from its native Australia, like in this piece featuring natives I picked up on a trip to see my sister and nephews. Yes we grow Eucalyptus here now, but oh the smell is something else down under!

Card sales seem to go in odd cycles. Last month everyone seemed to be turning 70 or 80. This month lots of wives are being treated to my beautiful cards. If your wife has an October birthday you now where to go for a fabulous card, find me in the The Hummingbird Collective shops in Newark and Retford. And remember, I can create a custom card for any occasion too, just DM me or order at the counter.
