From my little Dorset studio I illustrate, design. and make everything in my shop, from magnets to mugs, portraits to planners. I also teach a variety of classes on Skillshare as well as create surface pattern designs which i sell on Spoonflower. I am usually up for a challenge and accept commissions. I am a fibro warrior and as such I am very chronic illness friendly and always happy to work closely with my customers to make ordering with me a wonderful experience.

So I had an idea a few weeks back. I didn't want to get rid of the kids play house but it was taking up space, being used as a dumping location and also rotten. So I thought, why not cut down the depth and make a mini shed for the outside furniture cushions and a few gardening tools.
So as there was a break in the weather I grabbed the drill and started demolishing. It's taken around two hours to do but I'm so pleased. I used one of the roof boards as the base and using a load of timber we had from our old rabbit hutch (which happened to be exactly the size I needed) I made the base. The sides are just one of the sides from the original house I just cut the middle section with a window in it out to make the two sides.
I happened to have some new roofing felt from an old project.
So this upcycling cost nothing except time, even the screed were left over from redecking sone of the garden!.
I'm so pleased to have given it a new life.
I'm not going to be able to do anything else for the rest of the day but I'm so pleased it worked!!!
