Been a while since I made this piece but have only just been able to gift it to my Aunt and Uncle who are celebrating 60 years of marriage this year. Made at my most recent Raku firing day with Aylesford Pottery & School of Ceramics. Two attempts as the first one cracked on cleaning - showing how fragile these pieces are when they have been subject to the extremes of a raku firing.

Thank you to everyone that supported me and my pottery yesterday at The Pub at Solley's Craft Fair - what a scorcher that was. Thank you to Katie and Keith for the opportunity too. Now preparing for my next events which are likely to be Deal Hospital Fete (August) and Whitfield Village Fete (September) plus of course my gallery appearance at Square Gallery at the end of June.

Come and say hello to me and my fellow crafters today at The Pub at Solley's and Solley's Ice Cream Parlour near Ripple, Deal. The sun is shining and there’s plenty of outdoor and indoor seating in and around the pub plus the ice cream parlour too. Lots of refreshing drinks and food including the famous Solley’s ice cream. We are all here till 4pm. Lots of new pottery too fresh from the kiln…
