I’m delighted to share this recently completed HARE portrait, lovingly created in fineliner with hand-applied gold and silver leaf accents.

Gilded Freya✨ 🦊 The beautiful Fox from Brockswood Nature Reserve. Thanks to Shaun Thomas for the original photo. It’s my new mixed media wildlife piece combining intricate fineliner work with gold leaf and layered acrylic tones. I wanted this one to feel both delicate and wild — just like Freya.soft textures against rich metallic elements.

There’s something about foxes that always feels watchful, intelligent and quietly magical.

⚙️🐇✨ New mixed media piece just finished… and I may be slightly obsessed. ✨🐇⚙️

A little steampunk mischief, a lot of texture, and layers of vintage-inspired detail… this dapper rabbit has officially hopped into reality. 🕰️🎩

From metallic gears and aged embellishments to rich warm tones and dimensional texture, this piece was such a joy to create. I love artwork that changes as you move around it—catching different highlights, shadows, and tiny hidden details.

The butterfly felt like the perfect finishing touch… a little softness amongst the mechanics. 🦋
