A long overdue update from DPA Handyman Services...

Hi all, trust 2026 is finding you well! It's coming up to 8 months since I left my job of 15 years and stepped into the world of self employment. I had planned to share some of the work I've been doing over the last few months but I've quickly found out that it's a full-time job just doing the work, let alone posting about it 🤣

Going forward I'll share more of what I'm doing so you can join me on my journey.

Since May last year, I’ve found myself doing a wide variety of jobs - from painting to plastering, small repairs to bathroom installations, learning along the way and increasing my skill level - a challenge I’ve genuinely welcomed!

If you have a job that needs doing, or know someone who does, I’d really appreciate you helping me spread the word.

Similarly, if you’re a tradesperson looking for a trustworthy pair of hands - or know someone who is - please share this. I enjoy meeting new people and being part of the wider community.

This week I teamed up with Expansion Improvements to deliver a project that gave wheelchair access to a lady with a beautiful garden in Handsworth Wood.

We recycled some existing slabs to create a ramp, providing access to patio area towards the rear, allowing her to work outside, tend to her garden and enjoy the scenery.🪴

Wonderful hosts who served a top notch coffee ☕️👌🏼
