Maria Robertson - Art 25 year old Artist Living in Dundee, works with both 2D and 3D software. My name is Maria Robertson and I am a digital artist based in Dundee.

I was brought up in Shetland which in many ways influences the artwork I create. I am a large fan of fantasy and traditional folklore, this being from my part of the world or from other cultures. Therefore, expect to see elements of this in my work in both 2D and 3D media. My aim for this page will be to showcase my portfolio, advertise my services as a commissioned artist, and possibly in the long run sell prints and other merchandise,

Adding to the kelp idea, however this time I wanted to add some texture to my illustrations. I played around a bit with this and decided to go with knitting!

It kind of goes with the Shetland theme, so it makes sense and plus it was super fun to experiment with!

One of my main goals for this new year is to start selling physical prints of my work! Surprisingly it's the first time I really felt like that was something I wanted to do!
However over the past year of doing commissions for people's personal passion projects. Working with them has really reignited my love for creating 2D art and Illustration!

A simpler drawing for this one. This is my take of 's 4th Prompt: . I wanted to make a decorative stained glass ceiling with a lunar/night-sky theme. First time drawing something like this so overall fairlu pleased with how it's come out!

Spent some time doing this little animation, dedicated to my childhood dog Mirkie who we lost at the beginning of the Summer. We laid her to rest at the top of our hill where heather and Lucky Minnie’s Oo (bog cotton) grows. Sometimes I like to imagine she’s sitting there looking over us.
