I've been thinking about finally writing up some of my crochet patterns from my little black book of notes, drawings and scribbles 📖🧶
(little biege book doesn't have the same ring to it) haha

Not because I'm planning to sell them (at least not anytime soon! 😆), but because I should probably have them written up properly and backed up somewhere safe. The thought of losing years of notes is enough to make me break out in a cold sweat!

The funny thing is, some of these patterns have been made so many times that I barely need the notes anymore. They're completely ingrained in my brain and my hands seem to know exactly what to do.

Maybe it's still time to get them organised anyway....just incase. 🤔😂💜

On Wednesday, my 11-year-old son asked if I could teach him to crochet.

We started with chains, and by Thursday he was giving single crochet a go.

Just look at his progress already! 🥹

I think he's done a fantastic job, and I may be a little bit proud. 😁🌟

It looks like I might have an apprentice in the making after all. 🤭💛

Who knows... maybe one day he'll be helping me work through my waiting list. 🤞🤣

🌻💛 Well, these made me smile 💛🌻

A bouquet full of sunshine, all crocheted by hand and ready for its forever home.

Sunflowers have always been one of my favourites to make. They're just so bright, cheerful and impossible not to love ☀️

I think we could all do with a little sunshine sometimes 😊🌻

* I just noticed the colour difference...the collage photos were taken at night and the wrapped bouquet during the day

I think I prefer the daytime photo 🤭

As you know… Thursdays are usually my “no crochet gets done” day because I’m on Bubble duty 🫧💕

Today involved making perfume from flowers picked in the garden 🌸, a surprise visit from cousins, football in the sunshine ⚽☀️, dining al fresco and finishing the day with ice cream and strawberry sauce 🍓🍦

Now the house is quiet, Bubble is home, and it’s finally time to chill… crochet in hand and the darts final on the TV 🎯🧶

🌿💜 A wee touch of Scotland on my hook today 💜🌿

Today’s handmade crochet blooms are giving all the Highland vibes — rich thistle-inspired purples with soft sage greens, carefully assembled stem by stem.

Scotland’s national flower has always symbolised resilience, strength, and beauty… and I think these little blooms capture that perfectly. ✨(I'm ever so modest) 🤣

There’s something so special about turning yarn into everlasting flowers — no watering needed, just cosy charm forever. 🧶

* Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but yes my waiting list is still CLOSED....hopefully I'm in a position to re-open in 3 or 4 weeks 🤞

Good morning 🤗☀️

I have a busy few days of assembly....with a whopping nine orders ready for assembly.
There's not enough room for them all on my table 🤭

I'm trying a new method which seems to be working for me as I am making a good dent in my monstrous waiting list. 💪
