Sometimes I have a little vision in my head of what I should make next - usually when I'm halfway through making something else! I then have an argument with myself about whether I should finish what I'm doing before starting the new idea, or put it to one side and strike while it's fresh in my mind (does anyone else do this?) ! On this occasion (and only after a heated one-person debate) the sensible me won and I made myself finish the heart decorations before starting the stars! Both will be available in my Etsy shop later this evening

I have an announcement.......I'm changing my name!
I've recently decided to phase out my use of lavender (mostly due to losing my supplier and not being able to find the same quality at a reasonable price) so the 'Lavender' in my name will no longer be relevent. The transition will take a little time, but I hope you'll stick with me. I'll still be making all your favourites, just not with lavender, (although I still have some left to use for my next set of pears). So let's start the journey with Little Mouse Stitchery!

The nights are drawing in and the temperature's dropped a few degrees, so I guess it's understandable that my creative thoughts have turned to the festive season! I don't normally make Christmas tree decorations but this design popped into my head when I found some 'holly berry red' wooden beads in my stash. What do you think? Can you imagine one of these on your tree (or is it too early to think about it!) 🎄🏡❤️

Oh my gosh, that took just 7 minutes for all my frogs to hop off to their new homes! So sorry for anyone who didn't manage to get one, I will be making more as soon as I can!

I've only just finished stitching these guys, but they've clearly already bonded, I've had to warn them that they'll probably be going to different homes soon! My embroidered frogs will be in my Etsy shop from 7pm on Wednesday 14th Oct (UK shipping only) so you may want to set an alarm as they usually sell quite quickly.

My frogs will be returning to my Etsy shop next week, but with a couple of changes to the design....
They'll no longer have their tummies filled with lavender (will explain why another time).
However they will now have poseable limbs, so you can have fun getting them to cross their legs or climb plant pots! Also I'd really love to hear your opinion - do you prefer the little froggy fellows with floral embroidery (see last pic) or without?

Most of us use a keyring don't we, but are you a 'strictly functional' keyring user (metal ring with cardealership logo, and maybe a mini membership card) or a 'modern form of charm bracelet ' user, or (and this is me) a 'my keyring needs to be a reflection of my personality, and preferably handmade' user? If you're the last type, a new set of one-off lavender-filled keyrings will be in my Etsy shop later this evening

I love these little chickens, not just because they're really fun to sew, but I also think they look so charming hung in a window, or on a drawer k**b or door handle. These will be in my Etsy shop in a few days
