Over millions of years, silica rich water seeps into rock crevices and hardens into the shimmering gemstone we love.



🇦🇺 Australia produces around 95% of the world's precious opal.



🔮Ancient Romans called it "The queen of gems". They believed opal held the powers of every gemstone, thanks to its rainbow of colours.



💧Opal contains up to 20% of water. Doesn't like extreme heat or harsh chemicals.
