Please read my T&C’s carefully before purchasing, by purchasing with The Personalised Map Company you’re agreeing to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. These terms and conditions abide by The Consumer Contract Regulations.

You’re welcome to print or store these terms for your own records. The Personalised Map Company own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on our website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else. While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on The Personalised Map Company website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. Wherever the term “Working Days or Hours” is featured, this excludes bank holidays, weekends and public holidays such as Christmas. Any holiday times will be clearly displayed on the homepage. When you place an order with The Personalised Map Company you will be sent an order confirmation detailing your order, this is giving you ample opportunity to correct any possible errors. The Personalised Map Company physical products: - One high quality print, on 130gsm high quality paper. Delivered in a card envelope. The Personalised Map Company downloadable products: - Delivered as an instant download via email. Prices
Prices are subject to change but are correct at time of posting. Any glitches, errors or typos are not required to be honoured. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether. Any special offers will have a clear displayed end date. Payment
PayPal is our main payment method, you will be sent an invoice through their system – you can pay with your PayPal account, or by card through that system. To pay by card, you don’t need to have an account with PayPal to purchase. The Personalised Map Company also accept Direct Checkout if purchasing via the website. Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with The Personalised Map Company. The Personalised Map Company must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Once payment has been received The Personalised Map Company will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. The Personalised Map Company acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract. Please allow up to 5 working days for your order to be shipped, you will be advised of a more precise date upon placing your order. During busier periods, such as the run up to Christmas, please allow longer periods. If there is a delay with your order, The Personalised Map Company will advise you as soon as possible. Shipping
The Personalised Map Company posts orders via Royal Mail. All UK items are shipped via Tracked 48 as standard. All international items go by Royal Mail Track & Trace. Should your order not arrive, please contact The Personalised Map Company, a full refund or a replacement will be offered once 15 days has passed. Upgrades are available. Returns & Cancellations
We ensure all items that are posted to our customers are of the highest standard but if there is ever a need to return an item we do accept returns for a full refund. Under The Consumer Contract Regulations, your right to cancel begins from the moment you place your order, up to 14 working days after receiving your order. Your right to cancel is unconditional. You can return an item for any reason such as faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, you’ve changed your mind and more. If you wish to return an item, please notify us in writing using the following model cancellation form (email is fine). We will then process your return. We would be grateful if you would return your items via recorded or tracked post, this is for your peace of mind, and ours. This is not a requirement of law, this is a courtesy request. Items marked as being reduced for having a defect, damage or any other reason will be exempt from the returns policy. Return postage will be paid by the customer if the order is no longer wanted. If the reason for the return is our responsibility return postage will be paid by The Personalised Map Company. Returning Custom Items:
Custom made items are exempt from The Consumer Contract Regulations – the only exception being is if they’re faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose or any other fault of The Personalised Map Company; in this case, please refer to the returns section of this document. So yesterday I had a blood test and got a job!  Go me!  I was 10 minutes late to the blood test.  11.30 interview, 1.40 ...

So yesterday I had a blood test and got a job! Go me! I was 10 minutes late to the blood test. 11.30 interview, 1.40 blood test, Plenty of time between the two, right!?! ha! wrong :(

So I realised that last month my business made just £660 profit in the 'busiest' time of my year… but I need about £1000 to cover my bills. … so I panicked. Do you believe in fate? woo woo? however you like to call it. Anyways, I do. So I thought job applications, term time only part or full time. LO is still only just 5, and this whole thing was built on creating our family so I was around for children when they came along, and being there when they needed me to be.

I'd actually tried applying for this job in Jan 2024, but life was hectic and uncertain, I couldn't commit while my little family was still finding its routine. I spend hours on application forms and personal statements, only to not to send it! Never thought about a job again until last week. Spotted this like 18 hours before closing!

So, I applied for it job ‘to get the practice’ on the Thursday, no pressure on myself, fully using it as experience. I didn't even get my friend to check it over like I normally do. Thought it might be an in roads to getting some up to date work experience.

I then got a message inviting me to interview. Me and another guy were interviewed yesterday for 2 advertised jobs. Head said he didn't like wasting peoples time, and we were the two strongest candidates, and I loved that more. Me Strong! And I got the job, start in Sept as a teaching assistant with SEND children.

I was 10 mins late for my appointment but the nurse was fab and really understanding when I got in. I hate being late for anything though!

So all of that makes me feel like this is meant to be, and where I should be, which makes the next bit a lot easier.

I've made a decision to step away from my business, for the Summer at least, spend time together, watch my boy grow, go on adventures and make the memories, rather than worrying about how the next bill is being paid or telling him no I need to do this.

My current plan is to see where I stand in October with a half term under my belt and us all getting used to the new routine of it, and figure out where we stand from there.

My last day for orders with be the 20th of July. Then website and etsy will go into holiday mode for the foreseeable. Socials will stay open and I will try to keep them active and pop in with updates!

And my final thing would be to thank everyone near and far for their support, honestly I've always said I have the best customers. People have been so kind on my 14 years of self employment, and particularly the last 3 ish years of realising our dream to become a family and have LO join us. It's been tough and amazing, and I've been so strong to keep going this long, but now I'm on to a different phase of life, be that short or long term.
