We did it!

Tomorrow is officially our first market. I cannot express the feeling that I got practising the setup in the kitchen. Mr Russell is overjoyed at the mess I have made 😆

If you’re free tomorrow with nothing to do, like a bit of ceramics, or are just nosy like me, come and see me!

Did someone say Christmas…?

Over on the kitchen bench this week is all of the bisque firing I’ve had done in preparation for the Christmas market next month!!!

There’s a sneak peak at some of the mini Christmas things I’ve been working on. I have to say the little gingerbread man is my favourite. Now I need to make a mini army of him.

Welcome back to my kitchen bench!

Latest batch is out of the kiln and it’s the first time I’ve felt truly proud of the things I’ve made.

Remember it’s my first ever market on 6th December 9am-1pm at the Coxhoe Village Hall.

Come and see me, have a hold of some bowls, let’s talk commissions and let me whinge about the price of glazes now that the addiction has taken hold 😂

A sneak peak at some of the bigger bowls!

I’ve got a full batch of over 30 items ready to be glazed! 🎨🫟 Hence this page being rather quiet. I am hoping to start upping my social media game.

I know it’s illegal to mention the C word this early in the year when we haven’t even had Halloween yet… BUT!

I’m doing my first market this Christmas! Just a thank you again for all of the lovely messages about my pieces. Trying to navigate a full time job, a house, dog and a part time business has really pushed me over the last few weeks but I feel like I’m starting to feel more confident in my pieces.

If anyone is going to the Coxhoe village market on Sunday 6th December, keep an eye out for a very nervous first time seller, ME!

Once this big batch comes out of the kiln I can’t wait to show you all 🤍

You may have noticed that I’ve been rather quiet on here, so I’ll catch you up while I eat dinner out of my new Sage pasta bowl.

I have news! I’m currently in the process of getting my own space to use for pottery. A much shorter commute, my own tools, and a space I can use whenever I want. That process is due to be finished by the end of this week! *Insert excited squeal*

Once I’m all set up I’ll share some more regular updates on my work and finally be creating ceramics the way I set out to do.

I’m really pushing myself to get my work more consistent as so many of you are reaching out for dinner sets or matching pieces.

Can’t wait to see these all trimmed and glazed.
