Well we eventually finished this project. The customer’s patience was wearing thin as the concrete had been poured but even though it looked dry, it wasn’t. We put hygrometers on the subfloor just to show the client how damp it was. I also drill and plugged a hole in the floor to get a more accurate reading. Eventually getting down to what we needed it to to begin putting our smoothing compound down which was f.balls 1400. Then finally getting the flooring down which was textures herringbone with 3mm design strip and the plank in the same colour for the perimeter. Customer understood in the end of how important it is to get it right. Prep is key and communication.

Team Inspired turned this job around in 3 days. From uplift old Lvt including screed. Cleaning and then priming the floor before putting down 1400 screed. Then fitting art select 36” x 18” tiles with 3mm design strip in between tiles.
