Quick, only 4 of these cute, tiny baskets left! I love these baskets and find them so useful around my house for little things like bracelets and jewellery or hair ties. What would you use them for?

A magic circle is how I start so many projects, such as my baskets and coasters, but it took me quite a few practices watching a video tutorial, to get it right.

I know there are other methods to make a magic circle but this is the one I found the easiest and wanted to share it with you!

Let me know - have you tried making a magic circle before? Do you use the same method?

I have wanted to update my stall display for markets for a while, and have taken inspiration from all the amazing displays from other vendors at markets and on here!

I had to do it on a budget and would have liked to get it all second hand but unfortunately after much searching nothing was what I was looking for. So I found a couple small pieces from a charity shop - two little woven baskets and an IKEA cutlery tray. Next I invested in two small shoe racks to display my items. I think this new set up is so much better - do you agree?

If you are also a vendor, what are your go to tips and tricks for markets? Share in the comments

Finding natural, non toxic home decor can be really hard as we are bombarded with mass produced items all of the time. But it is not impossible!

I spend time carefully searching for the perfect eco-friendly materials to suit my designs - whether for basket, bracelets or blankets.

If you prioritise natural materials over synthetic then you are in the right place, follow along for more.

A snapshot of April! I haven't been on here for almost all of April and thought I'd share a little behind the scenes of what I have been up to.

Note to self "take more photos when I'm crocheting or crafting"!

I have exciting things coming up in May, including another market this weekend. Will share details in my stories!

Does anyone else film up their memory with photos of flowers or is it just me?

This shelf was looking a bit sad and empty, so I slowed down, cleared it out, and added something simple 🤍

A handmade basket—soft, natural, and just enough to bring everything back into place.

Sometimes it’s not about having more space…
just better, more thoughtful storage 🌿

"Revisiting" my two tone coasters for

Still super proud of myself for designing these. They look simple but getting a straight line colour block in a circle is a little fiddly. These are available in my as finished items.

I almost didn't post this! 'Challenges & Wins' is the next prompt for

So many aspects of running a small handmade business are challenges that we all face. And it's easy to sound super negative. So I wanted to highlight some Wins:
1. I can express my creativity in my business
2. I have met some lovely small businesses recently (in person and on here)
3. Had some great feedback at my first market of the year - it really gave me a positive boost to keep going and adapting!
4. Taken some new product photos and updated some Etsy listings
5. Booked my next in person market

It's always a challenge to put myself out there (in person and on here) but it's worth it - meeting new people in this crafty community and getting new ideas and motivation to build my business going forward.

Today's prompt for is 'Design details'

I don't often sit down and sketch out or plan a pattern. The yarn is normally the starting point - this is the inspiration for a design. I spend some time researching different stitches to decide what will work well and look good with the yarn.

I really enjoy making my own patterns and I will start to release these very soon. If you would be interested in pattern testing, then watch this space and let me know!

Today's prompt for is 'Who is it for?'

I take a lot of inspiration from nature, such as the floral coasters and mini baskets, plus the landscape inspired punch needle hoop. The natural fibres I use, not only add great texture and character to the items but also have a lower environmental impact long term.

I particularly love this time of year, with all the spring flowers, new leaves on the trees and the beautiful bird chorus. I would say this is when I feel the most creative and inspired. Do you get that feeling too?
